40 Days For Life

2012 Activities

40 Days for Life is a community-based campaign that draws attention to the evil of abortion through the use of a three-point program:

" Prayer and fasting
" Constant vigil
" Community outreach

40 Days for Life takes a determined, peaceful approach to showing local communities the consequences of abortion in their own neighborhoods, for their own friends and families. It puts into action a desire to cooperate with God in the carrying out of His plan for the end of abortion in America.
The 40-day campaign tracks Biblical history, where God used 40-day periods to transform individuals, communities ... and the entire world. From Noah in the flood to Moses on the mountain to the disciples after Christ's resurrection, it is clear that God sees the transformative value of His people accepting and meeting a 40-day challenge.

We have an opportunity this year to come to the aid of unborn babies in danger of abortion!

You are invited to join hands with 40 Days for Life, September 26 to November 4. 2012.

Cries for help are reaching our Lord’s ears with peaceful prayer vigils outside abortion clinics and in faithful hearts at Home and Church.

Our Lady’s Rosary is a safety net for these little souls.

Our Lord said, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.”

If you feel a nudging -- or hear a little echo inside...

Maybe God is calling you to come to the aid of these little innocents. One person does make a difference!

There is something special in each of us – a gift to share.

WE NOW HAVE A WORKING SIGN-UP VIGIL ON OUR WEB-SITE at www.40daysforlife.com/stcloud .

If you are already signed up with your day captain, do not sign up using this schedule. as we already have you on our calendar AND WE THANK YOU VERY MUCH for taking this courageous step of signing up to "STAND VIGIL" with us.

This new on-line calendar is for those who are not yet signed up. It allows us only one sign-up per hour. However their will be a comment section where you can indicate if you will be bringing more people with you. Once you sign up, the day captains will then be able to take your information and put you on their calendar for the time of day you signed up for. We have went to this simpler sign-up system as what we had used perviously was not effective.

You can still sign up simply by e-mailing or calling Judy Haag or your day captain, but we want you to be aware that the vigil on-line sign-up is available. We are looking forward to another 40 Days For Life in St Cloud from September 26th to November 4th, 7am-7pm Monday-Friday. We invite you to COME JOIN US!!!!

Also, You can "JUST COME" and join us anytime without signing up if you prefer to do it that way.

GOD BLESS EVERYONE for their willingness to join us in any way, be it PRAYING, FASTING, and/or STANDING VIGIL TO END ABORTION!!!!!!!

If you have any comments, questions, concerns about this or anything to do with the upcoming 40 Days For Life-St Cloud, contact Judy Haag at judy4life@meltel.net 320-453-7592

MN abortions at record low, but Planned Parenthood abortions up.

According to MCCL, Planned Parenthood was the only abortion provider to perform more abortions in 2010 than 2009. It dominates 35 percent of the state’s abortion business.  Currently, a new abortion clinic is under construction in St. Paul, which will be the nation’s third largest Planned Parenthood facility.
